Purchase requests may be processed using the SAP SRM or the purchase requisition form.
SAP SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) is a web-based solution that allows the user to formulate purchase requests and map the approval process electronically. The web-based requisition (shopping cart) replaces the paper-based purchase requisition that was previously received by the purchasing department via in-house mail, email, or fax.

For the first 3 days you do not need a certificate of incapacity for work (AU) from your doctor, only from the 4th day of illness will you be required to submit the certificate. If there is a weekend or a holiday between the days, these days will also be counted. If you have any further questions, please contact your corresponding administrator.
We have created compact instructions for vacation requests and ask department staff to follow them.
The provided forms are centrally located in the UHH Communication and Service Portal (KUS). We ask you to use the available forms found there in the future.

Regulations for the academic staff

Professors, junior professors, research assistants and other academic teaching staff must take their vacation during the lecture-free period. The other members of the academic staff must also take their vacation during the lecture-free period due to the close interrelationship between their duties and those of the above-mentioned teaching staff, unless logistical reasons also permit vacation during the lecture period.
Information for supervisors
The vacation allowance of your employees must be documented in a vacation list. After the end of the vacation year – usually no later than September 30 of the following year - the vacation lists must be finalized. They remain with the employment offices and are kept for a period of five years.
The responsible personnel department must be involved before a vacation request is rejected, as this measure is subject to co-determination by the personnel council in accordance with § 87 Para. 1 No. 2 of the Hamburg Personnel Representation Act (HmbPersVG). Submission to the personnel council is made by the responsible personnel department.
