Occupational Safety

As is the case for all companies and institutions, the Universität Hamburg is also subject to legal regulations for the organization of workplace safety and health protection. Workplace safety and environmental protection are centrally monitored and supervised by the Occupational Safety and Environmental Protection Unit.

Advice and support in all matters of workplace safety, environmental protection, waste disposal, first aid and radiation protection for the individual sites of the Department of Biology are provided by the technical staff.
