FuturEnzyme: Become part of our research team

Microbial enzymes are important tools of the bioeconomy. They make a significant contribution to sustainability and, among other things, they play an important role in the degradation of plastic waste in the environment. Against this background, the project "FuturEnzyme" aims to identify new enzymes from non-cultured microorganisms that can be used for the degradation of synthetic polymers on the one hand, and for the synthesis of polymers and other valuable biomolecules on the other hand. The position requires the preparation of scientific publications and presentations at scientific congresses as well as the participation in project meetings and the supervision of bachelor and master students.
