Transfer in the department of biology
The Department of Biology at the University of Hamburg sees knowledge transfer as a fundamental part of its work. We practise and promote transfer in many areas of society - for example by giving lectures, taking part in events and creating contributions for video, television and radio productions. -> Transfer projects from the Department of Biology > see german version.
Within the University of Hamburg, the Department of Biology co-operates in research and teaching with the Botanical Garden (Loki-Schmidt-Garten) and the Museum der Natur Hamburg. These two institutions are ‘showcases of science’ and thus also play an important role in communicating specialised biological knowledge to the interested public.
At the University of Hamburg, researchers, teachers and students from eight faculties are committed to transferring knowledge and innovation to society. -> Transfer page of the University of Hamburg.
