Members of the group present their research at the international congress of the European Society for Evolutionary Biology
The biannual congress of the European Society for Evolutionary Biology is one of the most important international gatherings of the scientific community, wih ~1,500 participants. This year, five members of our group traveled to beautiful Prague and presented their research to their peers. A highlight of the conference, besides all the interesting social interactions after two years of Corona pandemic, was a dedicated symposium on "Molecular evolution and trade-offs in host-pathogen interactions and host immunity", co-organized by two members of the group, Ana Teles and Tobias Lenz. The symposium hosted talks and posters on a wide range of exciting studies and led to inspiring discussions during and after the sessions.
