Lab retreat in List

This year, the entire department of developmental biology went to Sylt to the Alfred Wegener House in List. Besides many lectures, there was enough time to cook together and to walk to the northernmost point of the island.

Congratulations, Ankit!

On October 1st, Ankit Ghosh defended his doctoral thesis on "aMP: Deep learning framework to characterize meiosis progression timeline in tetraploid Arabidopsis thaliana".

As always we first cheered in the botanical garden. Afterwards, he had to prove his knowledge of meiotic stages  in a memory...
