Congratulations to Dr. Joke De Jaeger-Braet for the successful defense of her thesis "The meiotic progression of Arabidopsis thaliana under elevated temperatures and towards an understanding of translational control in plant meiosis". Very well done! And very well deserved!

Traditionally, Loki Schmidt, the great supporter of botany in Hamburg, is included in the celebration.

Afterwards, Joke's favorite game "Saboteur" was replayed live. Therefore, the dwarfs provided the cards to the gold treasure.
