The conference "Biotic interactions and their role in ecosystem-climate feedbacks" was held at the Institute of Plant Science and Microbiology of Universität Hamburg from May 14 to May 17 2023. Leading scientists from around the world gave exciting insights into their latest findings on the role of biotic interactions for ecosystem functions and possible feedbacks on climate.
In about 40 posters, further participants of the conference presented their own research results. Group discussions, an “icebreaker”, a joint dinner and a field trip to the ecosystem warming experiment MERIT at the North Sea coast of Germany were also included in the program.
Prof. Dr. Kai Jensen: "The conference was a great success! We had inspring talks, poster presentations and discussions. Thanks to all participants for their contribution and to the great team of people who organised the meeting"
