As part of the GIZ-funded project "Climate-responsible Peatlands management through Optimized Land use in East Kalimantan, Indonesia (CrePOL)", Prem Neupane and Michael Köhl traveled to Kalimantan in June. They conducted a stakeholder workshop there and presented initial approaches to peatland management. During a visit to peatland forests, they discussed possibilities for monitoring these valuable C reservoirs with local experts.
