Doctorate celebration in the Department of Developmental Biology

We congratulate our Chinese PhD student Chao Yang on his doctorate!

On October 25, 2019, he presented his PhD thesis with summa cum laude. The title of the thesis is: "Dissecting the molecular regulation of chromosome axis formation and sister chromatid cohesion during meiosis in Arabidopsis thaliana".

On October 1st, Ankit Ghosh defended his doctoral thesis on "aMP: Deep learning framework to characterize meiosis progression timeline in tetraploid Arabidopsis thaliana".
