Our bachelor course „Einführung in die Populationsgenetik“ happened fort the very first time!

For two weeks we studied water flea populations from Hamburg in the field, under the microscope and in the laboratory.

Stylianos (Steve) Mavrianos is starting as PhD student in the population genomics group.

He will analyze how rapid evolutionary processes in changing environments can be studied applying machine learning approaches.
