Ecology of Living Marine Resources
Reproduktion und Entwicklung
The life cycle of marine species involves a specific set of developmental stages, which can vary greatly in their sensitivity to environmental stressors such as climate change. However, detailed information on physiological bottlenecks in the life cycle is not available for many important species. The experimental determination of tolerance ranges, energy budgets and reproductive capacities is therefore a central component of our research.
