Climate Change and Geographic Distribution
Ocean warming is driving changes in species distributions worldwide, with significant consequences for fisheries, aquaculture and ecosystem functioning. Forecasting biogeographic shifts using physiological studies and habitat models is an important tool for developing climate-adaptive fisheries and ecosystem management.
