We are happy to welcome our postgraduate guest researchers within the BioHome project framework: James Boakye Acheampong (Stellenbosch University, South Africa) and Dr. Bernard Effah (Kumasi Technical University, Ghana). Together with Marco De Angelis (Universität Hamburg) they are working on the development of Wood-Plastic-Composites made from invasive tree species and recycled plastic.
The research stay is part of the exchange and education programme in the BioHome Project. The BioHome project is led by Prof. Dr. Andreas Krause (Institute for Wood Sciences) and coordinated by Goran Schmidt (Thünen Institute).
