Network Ecology
Welcome to our website!
The Network Ecology working group and this website are currently being established.
We conduct research on the biodiversity of insects, the diverse interactions of animal species with other species and the modeling and statistical analysis of ecological networks. Find out more at Research. An important goal of our research: we want to understand how insect biodiversity is changing in the course of global change and what ecological effects this has.
In line with this, we are active in teaching in the modules "Animal Biodiversity", "Data Science" and "Ecology" in the undergraduate program (BSc Biology). Advanced modules (identification of Hymenoptera, Network Analysis, ...) are under development.
We welcome qualified candidates who would like to contribute to our research (as degree candidates, assistants, PhD students or postdocs)!
