Congratulations to our colleague, Rebecca Oester, on winning first place in the 2025 Schwoerbel-Benndorf Young Scientist Award from the German Society for Limnology (DGL)!
Her scientific work and presentation at the DGL's annual conference in September were highly impressive, earning her first place, prize money and the prestigious “Clara” challenge cup.
Since 2006, the Young Scientist Award has been presented annually to young scientists who have achieved exceptional results in limnological research and published them in an international, peer-reviewed journal. The three best submissions are invited to the annual conference, where they are given the opportunity to present their research in a plenary lecture.
With this achievement, Rebecca now joins a list of outstanding young researchers.
We are delighted about this well-deserved success and are proud to have her on our team!
