EV Initiative Hamburg Workshop
30 July 2026, by Website Team Biologie
The EV Initiative Hamburg will hold its first workshop on 3 September 2026 at the Institute of Plant Science and Microbiology (IPM), University of Hamburg, in Klein Flottbek.
The workshop will provide a platform for exchanging ideas on current developments, methodologies, and ongoing projects in the field of extracellular vesicle (EV) research. The program will feature selected short talks based on submitted abstracts, coffee breaks, and a networking reception with drinks and snacks, offering participants the opportunity for discussion, networking, and getting to know colleagues from across the EV research community.
Scientific Topics
- EVs in host–parasite interactions and cell-to-cell communication in physiology and disease
- Biogenesis and release of extracellular vesicles
- Mechanisms of EV uptake, the fate of EV cargo, and the responses triggered in target cells and organisms
- Applications of EVs in biotechnology and biomedicine
- Methods, technologies, and tools for EV research
Registration and Abstract Submission
Registration and abstract submission for the selection of short talks are open until 15 August 2026. Participation in the workshop is free of charge.
