Prof. Dr. Baris Tursun brings the Worm Community together at the GSA 25th International Worm Meeting

Prof. Dr. Baris Tursun had the honour to be one of the main organisers of the latest GSA Worm Meeting which took place at UC Davis last June.

With more than 1300 participants and a range of interesting speakers, the conference offered a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, networking and inspiration. Among the many highlights of the event was the chance to meet Nobel Prize winners Prof. Dr. Victor Ambros and Prof. Dr. Gary Ruvkun, who inspired all with their personal stories reinforcing the importance of curiosity, perseverance and collaboration in scientific progress.

Special mention goes out to our team members Ms Gizem Köse, who was granted a selected talk and to Ms Qinming Li for her Poster Award! This experience not only enriched the professional growth of our team but also strengthened the commitment of the working group Tursun to excellence and innovation.
