On 16 May 2025, Raphael Koll successfully defended his doctoral thesis on ‘Molecular Stress Responses in Estuarine Fish’. Numerous colleagues from the Institute of Animal Cell and Systems Biology (IZS), the RTG 2530, family members and friends were on hand to support him and celebrate together. An atmospheric setting was provided: a mobile bar and a lavish cake buffet awaited the recent doctoral graduate and his guests in the institute's foyer.
