In March 2026 we held the 29th Graduate Meeting of the Evolutionary Biology Section of the German Zoological Society (DZG) entitled

“Interactions and Coevolution: from Molecules to Species”

This meeting brings together graduate students and early-career researchers interested in the evolutionary consequences of biological interactions, from molecular and genetic levels to population- and species-level dynamics.

Through a combination of invited talks, student oral presentations, poster sessions, and a focused workshop, the meeting  provided a platform for sharing ideas, presenting ongoing research, and promoting interdisciplinary discussions in a graduate student-focused and supportive environment.

In addition to the scientific program, the meeting will included networking events and an ice-breaking session, providing a welcoming environment for participants to build academic and social connections among participants with similar research interests in evolutionary biology.
