DZG Graduate Meeting 2026
We are pleased to announce the 29th Graduate Meeting of the Evolutionary Biology Section of the German Zoological Society (DZG) entitled
“Interactions and Coevolution: from Molecules to Species”
to be held on 25–27 March 2026 in Hamburg.
This meeting aims to bring together graduate students and early-career researchers interested in the evolutionary consequences of biological interactions, from molecular and genetic levels to population- and species-level dynamics.
Through a combination of invited talks, student oral presentations, poster sessions, and a focused workshop, the meeting will provide a platform for sharing ideas, presenting ongoing research, and promoting interdisciplinary discussions in a graduate student-focused and supportive environment.
In addition to the scientific program, the meeting will include networking events and an ice-breaking session, providing a welcoming environment for participants to build academic and social connections among participants with similar research interests in evolutionary biology.
All PhD candidates and late stage Master’s students are warmly invited to submit their research to participate in this graduate meeting in the beautiful city of Hamburg.
Please submit your abstracts during the registration process.
Registration is open until February 20!
Selected participants for oral and poster presentations will be announced by the end of February.
