Wann: Di, 19.01.2021, 12:00 Uhr bis 13:00 Uhr
Wo: Zoom-Veranstaltung, 20354 Hamburg
Conflicts within a research group or between doctoral researchers and supervisor(s) can seriously delay the progress of your research and the successful completion of your doctoral studies. Further, they negatively affect your motivation and satisfaction with scientific work. The lack of face-to-face meetings due to the Corona pandemic further complicates conflict solving strategies. Our next MINGS Lunch Break offers a confidential space for you to discuss conflict situations with Sonja Nielbock and Kirsten Meyer, Conflict Prevention Unit of Universität Hamburg. We will talk about signs and reasons for conflicts between doctoral researchers and supervisors/team members and learn about strategies to manage these situations.
