The Institute of Cell and Systems Biology of Animals comprises research groups of the Zoology, the History of Science and the research group for Genome Informatics. All research groups can be found at the Campus Bundesstrasse, except the IHF.
The Institute of Zoology includes six departments, one junior research group and an associated research group. They all deal with a wide range of various fields in zoology in research and teaching, especially with evolutionary biological and ecological topics. We provide a modern and powerful research environment with more than 100 employees and researchers. Furthermore, we run several successful collaborations with the neighboring Center of Natural History (CeNak).
